Our academy is placed in diversely rich, international communities with
aspirations of a better future for themselves, and their children, via education and
Riverside Academy West’s curriculum will be sufficiently broad to allow students the
opportunity to study a range of subjects including: English Language Arts, Mathematics,
Arabic Language, Science, Social Studies, PE, Technology, Art and Music.
The Great Start Readiness Program is Michigan's state-funded preschool program for four-year-old children who may be at risk of educational failure. The program is administered by the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Great Start.
It is with great pleasure that I continue my tenth year as a school leader at R.A.W. I believe that my leadership abilities and experiences, as well as my team working skills has all made me a viable and successful school leader. Being a principal is more than managing a building; it is inspiring educators to become successful through figuring out goals for their students by collaborating with all stakeholders and identifying the learning difficulties of each student. Adjusting instructions for all types of learners and implementing teaching strategies that are best tailored towards our diverse learners.
